At AWISA in Melbourne, Biesse announced the establishment of a new building in Western Sydney spanning 5,000 square metres. The complex is a new facility designed with the customer in mind. It will be called Biesse Campus and follows closely after the opening of the first Biesse Campus in North Carolina (USA).

Following the launch of the multifunctional technological campus facilities in Pesaro (Italy), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Charlotte (USA) and early this year, Dubai (UAE); Biesse Group announced that a new campus will be opened in Sydney in September this year. Federico Broccoli is the sales and subsidiaries division director for Biesse and said “This project gives something back to the industry in Australia that has given so much to us at Biesse and Intermac.” The new Campus is designed to host custom demonstrations; in-house events like the popular Inside Biesse workshops; educational and training events.

Australian CEO Luke Tenaglia said “Our intention is that the complex will represent a 360° experience where our customers can get to know Biesse and Intermac innovation first-hand, witnessing with their own eyes how our technological solutions can increase efficiency and competitiveness.” The premises will be located in Wetherill Park NSW and feature a state-of-art showroom complete with advanced training facilities. The new centre will stock over 100 tonnes of cutting edge glass, stone, wood and advanced materials processing technology. Federico says “Customers want more than a good price; they want service and now Biesse will give back something to Australia to thank them for their early support.”

The grand opening of the new campus will provide a great opportunity for Biesse and Intermac customers to work closely with product specialists and learn from experienced industry professionals. Craig Haidley said “Intermac is a recognised global leader in glass processing machining centres and innovation is our driving force. Exchanging ideas, sharing our knowledge and discussing leading industry trends will help all of our customers Think4ward! Our new campus further demonstrates our commitment to the Oceania region.”

In addition to the complete range of Biesse wood processing equipment, Intermac will have their most advanced glass cutting technology, CNC glass processing technology (both vertical and horizontal) and Intermac’s revolutionary waterjet cutting solutions on display; fully operational and readily available for customer training and demonstrations.
