Biesse is a machinery supplier that in just over forty years has come from a warehouse with an upstairs apartment supplying products to Fiat and Benelli to one of the largest suppliers of machinery in the World.

Other large machinery suppliers have been created from individual companies; brought together to form a group. What makes Biesse unique is that they have largely been one company from the start. In recent times they have bought other companies but for most of their history they have done it on their own. Biesse now have subsidiaries all around the World and participate in every trade show.

Biesse Middle East took part in WoodShow, the annual Dubai international wood and wood machinery show 7th to 9th March, with an increased display area and a larger range of technology on display to previous shows. This indicates the level of attention and care that the company has decided to dedicate to the Middle Eastern region. With a large stand and 7 different technologies fully operational, Biesse Middle East; a 100% Biesse subsidiary, welcomed visitors with personalized demos and all the know-how of its commercial and technical staff.

Biesse Middle East was excited because it was the first public event where the new ambitious Biesse Group Dubai Campus was presented. “This year’s WoodShow edition was very special to us. We are extremely proud to unveil this milestone to our public, since it is exactly for our Customers that we started this important investment in the first place; to give all the necessary support to our Gulf clients” says Federico Broccoli, Subsidiaries Division and Wood Division Sales Director.

The facilities, spanning more than 1,100 m2 in total will feature the largest and only permanent operational showroom in the entire region dedicated to machinery for processing wood, advanced materials, glass and stone. The modern building will be located within the new Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. This “free-zone” was built to house some of the region’s most innovative companies, with a view to creating a proper technology park. In addition, the Dubai Campus will include the subsidiary offices, a classroom for training, a dedicated software space, and a service and spare parts area. The very last details are being fixed inside the building, which has been highly customized to be aligned with the sophisticated Group’s corporate image, and the subsidiary will be inaugurated with a grand opening event this year.

“We are thrilled to see the Headquarters confirming its trust in our market and providing us with this incredible asset that is the Dubai Campus, especially in view of Dubai International Expo in 2020, an event that will bring benefits both for our industry and for the region as a whole” states Renato Manganelli, Subsidiary Director for Biesse Middle East . The next Biesse Campus to open will be Sydney, Australia.
