AWISA is only a few days away and promises to be the best show ever with plenty of new machinery, software and product heading to Melbourne.

In this E-newsletter you will have read a great deal about International trade shows. These shows are where suppliers release their latest developments. Everyone is looking to scoop the opposition and be the first to realise a new technology or product design. They are not likely to release much between the International shows and give their opposition time to develop something similar but there are enough major shows around the world to guarantee a continuing supply of new technology and design.

If you don’t travel overseas much, AWISA is essential to keep you up to date with everything the industry suppliers have to offer. Even just checking out the technology or product design for your business’s future is time well spent and you won’t get a better opportunity to browse all of the latest releases in the one place and time.

At AWISA you will see equipment, software and product that may have been shown in Germany, Italy and other shows around the world during the last 12 months. Much of this will be available to see and touch in Melbourne. Obviously not all of it comes to Australia, which is why reporting on shows such as Ligna, Interzum, Holz-Handwerk and Xylexpo is so important. Rest assured that if it’s new and we either see it ourselves or are informed by the supplier, we will write about it for you.

And it’s not all about high-technology although it seems that the major players do occupy significant stands at the show. There’s plenty of more “standard” equipment along with all the cutting tools, hardware, product, trade tools, software and much, much more on show making AWISA a truly unmissable event.

You may have received invitations from your preferred suppliers already and have some idea as to what they will be showing. There will of course be much you’ve seen before but every exhibitor will have something new to show you. If the future of your business means anything, do yourself a favour and be there!
