Shaw Contract Group’s latest resilient flooring collection, Surface and Strand sees the introduction of a new plank format mimicking the inherent characteristics of concrete and stone.
Designed to create a quiet moment within an architectural space, the collection is designed so the two new large format 18×36 (46 x 91cm) styles can be mixed and add scale while bringing an air of composed balance. The subtle visuals help activate balance within the design aesthetic and provide predictable and consistent colour across the floor. The colour palette is calm and includes warm and cool hues that appeal to any application.
Products within the collection include:
- Surface: A concrete visual featuring minimal embossing to mimic the inherent characteristics of concrete but with more predictable and consistent colour across the floor. Available in six colours.
- Strand: A linear stone visual also featuring minimal embossing to reflect natural characteristics to provide consistency of wash and colour. Available in 10 colors.
The 18×36 format also assists with scale in large settings and reduces the number of seams while being direct glue offers endless installation possibilities. Boasting an Exoguard quartz enhanced urethane finish and five millimetre wear layer, Surface and Strand is perfect for heavy commercial traffic and the surface finish minimises scuffing, for enhanced performance and durability. Manufactured with a high level of recycled content, Surface and Strand features a 10 year commercial wear.
