North America-based global retailer Williams-Sonoma opened the first Queensland stores for Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm in Brisbane’s stylish shopping hub, Fortitude Valley.

“Recognised globally for its unique sophistication and style, Brisbane is one of the fastest-growing capital cities in Australia. As such, our global expansion will continue with three stores opening in Fortitude Valley, amidst a hive of activity already established,” said Ron Young, Senior Vice President of Global, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. “At the heart of our brands – Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm – is unique design, exceptional customer service, and a calendar of in-store experiences for our customers.”

Staffed by 90 full-time and part-time employees, the three home furnishings stores will sit side-by-side at street level occupying 2310 m2 of retail space.

Local Brisbane-based photographer and stylist Kara Rosenlund brought her inimitable flair to the stores’ opening-day celebrations as guest host while a line-up of local, creative collaborations coincided with the stores’ opening day celebrations.
